HM was an incredibly fun game, no doubt I'll pick up the sequel.

I never finished Hotline Miami, got stuck on the level where you assault the police station.

But I am hyped.

I never finished either, but I loved what I played.

Thought the gameplay was too loose and messy, but I stuck through to the end just to hear the amazing music. Hopefully this one will continue with an epic soundtrack.

Game is a 10/10 to me, but it still has flaws, namely the AI is really abuseable.  Especially with the "kill everyone in 1 punch" mask + luring people to doors.  I just want better AI this time around.

Least important improvement needed.  But if they do, that's fine.

I mean the thing is that you can't have HYPER GORE & better graphics while still being fun and not ewwww.  Fucked up shit works so much better in low pixel detail cause it's cartoony.

yup. And while I don't have my lens-free glasses handy I'd also add it has a nice little narrative on how violence doesn't need context to be enjoyable.

Yeah, was hoping they'd actually improve on it a bit. Just looks like an expansion pack instead of a full blown sequel. Nothing about the game really screamed "90's" to me either.

The music sounds like sort of a weird 70s/80s/90s mashup.  Not sure what it's going for.

Otherwise looks/sounds awesome.  Can't wait!
