Title: Any games you want to get between now and next gen?

Will also play some Heartstone if Blizz manages to release it. That Obsidian rpg is not nearly done right?

And maybe Mario 3D World and Wind Waker remake. Normally I'd blindly buy a Zelda game, but Wind Waker remake doesn't look as good as the Gamecube game and is full price when other remasters are, at most, $40.

There aren't any next gen games I want until 2014.

I'm probably getting a PS3 in the interim as so there'll be a bunch of its exclusives that will be snagged, Project Diva F and Tokyo Jungle for starters along with some exclusive Musouage and jRPGage and so forth.

It was bizarre; it was so easy to see for anyone with two or more firing synapses (note: this definitively excludes sales/marketers in the game industry) that money was being LEFT ON THE TABLE with the huge install-base of PS1 users.

For some reason, everyone wanted to abandon PS1, and rush to the smaller installed base. It's made even more crazy when we look at how much brand new dev kits cost at the outset of a generation, and how many publishers walk away from the big investment they already have in knowledge, pipeline, etc. in the older hardware.

Apparently people learned their lesson, because this didn't happen with the transition from PS2 to PS3, and it isn't happening as we transition to PS4.

Looking at that 'best next gen game at e3' thread, ignoring first party exclusives, only The Division, Witcher 3, Final Fantasy, and Thief are next gen. Most games from E3 are cross gen.

You should get Demon's Souls. It has at least ten pieces of loot, and it comes Drinky approved.

yeah, that's on the list. Apparently Uncharted 2 is the one of that series to get? I dunno.

Otherwise the alternative is not being able to play them at all, lol. The only arcade I ever found HotD4 in (Foxwoods) took it out years ago because they're a bunch of bitches.

The HotD games with Move are pretty good. Not lightgun good, but if you liked playing lightgun games with the Wiimote you'll enjoy them.

The HotD games get great sales. If there isn't a random one between now and Halloween, there's sure to be a discount then. All three bundled was like $15 last time.

I don't know if you have any experience with Wii Motion Plus aiming, but PS Move is more like that than the IR Wii remote. I think Skyward Sword and the Metroid game in Nintendo Land are the only two that do it that way.
