Now they're saying Square Enix sold Chrono Trigger license to Mistwalker!
Please...be true. Just this once. FOR ME!
Two European sites reported that Square Enix would be selling two of its licences to other éditeurs/développeurs. Always according to these two sites, the first licence would be that of Kingdom Hearts which would go in Buena Vista Games, and the second that of Trigger, in Mistwalker. All this is yet only with the state rumour but the fact that Hironobu Sakaguchi lately expressed the desire for making a new Trigger comes to support the statements of these two sites
There's a funny smell in the air, and it isn't the funky gas fumes that floated over much of New York City, it's the smell of an intellectual property being sold off...Or at least so the rumors have it. The rumor mill is churning out something intriguing as some sources are catching wind of Square-Enix selling off two franchises. Reportedly, it is sources close to Square-Enix that let the tidbit slip. As far what the two franchises may be, we have no idea. It's best to assume that it'll be something that doesn't bring the publisher much, if any, profit. And remember, because this is the sale of a franchise, it is unlikely to be a game like The Bouncer, Vagrant Story, or Threads of Fate. Some speculation has pointed towards the 'Mana' and 'Ogre' franchises as being the two to go, which would make quite a bit of sense.
Ogre being sold...hmmm. Matsuno is not at Square Enix anymore. Double hmmmmm...

Chrono Trigger 2 no Xbox 360?
The German Wunderlampe come outside with reported to that Square-Enix of plan are sell two of its gamereeksen to another developer/publisher. This because the development costs of these games burst out higher than (expected) sell. From own speculation the site ends up on two candidates, to know the Kingdom Hearts-reeks and the Seiken Densetsu-reeks (Mana-reeks).
Thus Wunderlampe that the Kingdom Hearts-licentie expect will be sold to Buena Vista Games, where Xbox 360-game and Wii-game belong entirely to the possibilities. At the Seiken Densetsu-licentie the site ends up at Nintendo, since there parts still more appear for Nintendo consoles.
Licenties also other are evaluated. Thus Chrono-licentie are already bound to Mistwalker (the Chrono Trigger 2 to the Xbox 360?), and the remaining ranges are already excluded weigh moderate sales in the west.
To what extent Wunderlampe are right, I doubt it, but rumours are rumours.'

Mexican Pro Wrestling Priest. Bizzare combat system. Gaudy visuals. The party system in general was dumb.
The music was good tho lol. Maybe Chrono Cross should be a band.

I didn't get it either the first time I played. Elemental affinities/effects and stuff. Didn't get the percentages either. Game was really easy though. You could just mash buttons and do pretty well.
I replayed it a while ago. The ending is really just fucked up. Trigger is much better, though Mitsuda owns in both.

the battle system was decent, with the exception of say only being able to use an attack once unless you found another somewhere. Take the fight against Miguel halfway through the game. THAT FIGHT IS SO GODDAMN ANNOYING
(WHITE DRAGON SWORD AGAIN? F#$@!) unless you found like all the raises so far in the game. Then again you can just change the elemental field to your advantage..but still hard.
