http://screencrush.com/vin-diesel-interview/
Near the end of the interview (which is pretty cool, it explains how he got Riddick back from Universal). He says his studio, Tigon, has "reassembled" the original team from Starbreeze to create a 3rd Riddick game.
Take with a grain of salt. Obviously this doesn't mean we'll actually get a game. It's cool that he at least wants to attempt it.
:omg the thought of a Riddick game for next-gen :omg

Dark Athena wasn't bad but it wasn't particularly good either.
(Still need to buy the PC version off GoG. :fbm )
I'd be down for a third game, but I want the multiplayer Dark Athena had axed (no one cares about it), and the stealth revamped beyond 2003 stealth. They do that and have lights shining off Vin's bald head, and we're good.
-
Dark Athena was shit. Basically a FPS. Hardly any stealth.
Escape from Butcher Bay held up marvelously though.
-
"Shit" is going a little too far. As a Riddick game, it fell short: Yeah. But as a FPS it was completely by-the-numbers and didn't do anything too bad to where I wouldn't say it was a horrible game.
-
I liked the first half of Dark Athena. It was the second half that wasn't very good. Seemed they finished the game but decided to keep going.
-
Dark Athena had almost no guns. It was less challenging than EFBB, partly because you started with night vision.
-
Butcher Bay is still :rock

The anime was from the guy that did Aeon Flux, so it's pretty awesome (and wilde homo).

That animated movie was so much better than the second movie. Not that it's a high mark to beat, but still...
