I thought this had been canceled. Do people still care about the show or are you getting this because of nostalgia?
Edit: No gameplay in that trailer. That's a bit worrying.

I'm pretty sure there are a few quick shots of gameplay of RPG attacks being cast. The in-game looks exactly like the show/cutscenes.

Yeah, I'm sure the Mr Hankey attack is a summon. What I'm really interested in is the core mechanics of the game. Is it a turn-based RPG with the Mass Effect dialogue system?

Battles play out like Mario and Luigi series.

I really hope this game delivers. It seems like it should - Mario and Luigi/Paper Mario gameplay, graphics that look exactly like the show and Matt and Trey voices/story.
-
so this game is apparently using actual source assets from the show. Essentially rendering a TV-quality experience as you play it.
I mean, yeah its South Park, but that's still pretty cool.

I thought this would be about Knack

About fucking time!

Wasn't this supposed to come out in March, and then THQ died? I guess Obsidian really needed the extra time ...
-
hey it's a south park video game from obsidian that's changed publisher hands
what could possibly go wrong
Even if its a mediocre rpg it will be worth it for south park.
Dunno how changing pubs is going to effect it badly since its got more time in the oven now.

Ubisoft may have thought it would perform better as Christmas title than a mid-spring title.
