I love my iPod classic, but I think I should get something with both more storage and better sound quality. I've been looking into my options and all I found was Zunes and Walkmans that had way too low storage and used touch screens :-\
Can you fellow borritos help a guy out?

Most of the niche brands that audiophiles pick up have small storage so I think a 160 GB iPod Classic might be the best option.

There is a thread on GAF about mp3 players, a Sansa Clip Zip with Rockbox custom firmware gets recommend mostly.

If you have a smartphone, you might want to look at putting most of your music online on something like Google play. It's very simple but yeah it obviously requires using a touchscreen device.
I don't think I've ever heard of anyone fucking a camel. They're too tall aren't they?

Do you really need to carry that much music around, or are we talking about uncompressed files?

I have an 80gb zune that my sister bought for a christmas present for me about 2 years ago. Used, but that's what I told her I wanted. And I love it. It's plugged in all the time in my car, and I've filled it about halfway.

i gots a sansa clip zip, its just ok its rly small and you can put rockbox on it, its best feature
rockbox is like alternative firmware for mp3 devices that lets you play more file types and stuff like flac i recommend a rockbox supporting device for that reason alone

anyway the clip zip i dont reommend overal cause the sound quality is just ok, as expected from a small device I suppose worlds smallest doom player though
my personal favorite mp3 player ever was creative zen vision m, its old and bad now i imagine

My Clip is one of the first models, without an SD slot and everything. It plays FLAC and OGG and a bunch of other file types natively. That's why I never bothered to put Rockbox on it.

Most likely.
Everything shipping from Apple right now has 7 on it, and usually the firmware locks out earlier versions of the OS. This is also true for newer Mac units and older versions of OS X.

Thanks, I'll pass then. I wanted one for music and I haven't heard any good about the music player in iOS7 from my friends or online reviews.
