Title: Vacations baby!!!!

on vacations till the 18!!! I'm downloading some master race RPGs and some tv shows don't plan on doing anything except go to the gym and play vidya :rock

Still have a number of vacation days I need to use up before the end of November, so I'm taking off tomorrow through next Tuesday.

At work on my team, there's gonna be four people gone (two of us on vacation, another guy's last day is tomorrow, and one girl -who is probably gonna get fired for this- has called "out sick" for the entire week) on Friday.  That's like half of us.  It's gonna be horrible, especially in the morning.

GOOD THING I'M OFF!   :D

I sold all my vacation time back because my wife doesn't have any since she started her job late last year.  :(  Oh well.  That paid for my motorcycle :drool

Heading down to Portland and Eugene in a couple weeks for a long weekend. Omaha in December for Christmas, and then 11 days in Japan in April.

I don't need to take a trip every time I'm on a break.  It's nice to relax and take some time to not do shit.  Although I also want to do some cleanup/rearranging stuff at home.

Anyway, two hours to go until FREEDOM for (almost) a week!  :hyper

Two long-ass hours.  One of them will be spent managing the team and looking at all the fuck-ups.   :-\

I can't really take vacations from my job. I leave for one day and everything goes to shit. But it's not like I have anywhere to go, so it's cool.

Yeah, I haven't had a single day in 3 years where I haven't worked in some capacity, and all my vacations revolve around work in some way.  Still, I get to travel quite a bit.

Yeah this is what happened last time I took a vacation.  I spent the next month working my ass off to catch up for the week I took off.  So I can't justify sitting at the house and doing nothing.  I have to go somewhere and it better be worth it.

Taking my first proper "resort vacation with family" next week. Going to Rhodes so we sure won't be blazing any new trails, but I figured the all inclusive resort thing works well with kids.

I'm going to Houston in December for a week and then two weeks afterwards, I'm going to be in Dubai for two weeks.

Both are going to be work related but it is going to be excellent to be out of the Midwest when the weather is usually the shittiest.

I'm planning a weekend road trip to New Orleans on the bike with my wife.  Fuck it.  We need to go somewhere.  I'm going nuts!  The closest I've come to a vacation was taking a vacation day to play GTA V all day on the 17th of September.  God it felt so good.

So the bald penis that is my boss wants to steal three vacation days from me! he insist that I have to go back today even though we calculated that I have till the 18 before I left.

My vacations started the first of this month and I get 14 days, but saturdays count as half a day and sundays don't count.

i'm taking the next 4 days off from work for CMJ Music Festival in NYC.  I'm going to be running around photographing a hell of a lot of shows so it's going to be work, just not my day job.

I just want a vacation to get my head in the right place. Being stuck with life's problems can be really demanding of one's sanity. And lately I don't think I got much sanity to go on. I used to take little daycations and go for long drives, but I need something more substantial. When I do take vacations it's usually to go see family and that's neither relaxing or fun.

I would like to point out that I haven't done anything even close to productive or good for my future during this staycations :rock
