Title: thinking of selling my 360
Post by: magus on October 02, 2013, 07:37:45 PM
well i'm not sure i really want to do it,but just in case would any european bore be interessed in it? it's a fat one and comes with an hacked dvd drive... since getting a ps3 i see no reason to hold into it other than searching someone to sell to it is a pain

I suggested you to get a ps3 originally but I am glad you got mileage out of it.

You're not going to get shit for it, you're better off keeping it.

No one wants a hacked 360. Best you're gonna get is 5 euro and a Big Mac combo.

The best thing about 360 isn't beating the games, it's showing everyone online that you did.

Have you pirated Operation Darkness yet? It's the only reason I would want a hacked 360.

Why are you interested in playing it? Other than being one of the only tactics games on 360.

It features werewolves and Nazis!

Since it wasn't released in Europe and there is no capable 360 emulator for PC, I will probably never play it.

You can't overcome the region-lock with a hacked 360? I figured you could just download any ISO image.

No point in selling a 360 this late in the game. Just keep it.

you think i can't sell it even for 150 bucks? (that's how much i bought it last year)

The price is only going to go down. If you don't plan to keep using it you might as well get rid of it as soon as possible.

People are sketchy on 360s due to their build quality (red ring and all that is still a big deal to people), and I dont know the market in that area, or what model your unit is.

If you're that wanting to get rid of it, try to break even or just say "best offer" and see if anyone bites.

The best thing about 360 isn't beating the games, it's showing everyone online that you did.

I have you on my friends list and not once have I ever looked at your gamerscore or seen what games you've 100%, same with Mr. demi.  You know why the best place to repo a car is at noon in the middle of a crowded parking lot? Because nobody gives a fuck.

That is the best example of the worst comparison I've seen.

oh, I didn't mean for it to be a comparison.  I just think it's funny if you achievement guys are really doing it for that.  you could at least take a note from Walt and admit you're doing it for you.

But I am doing it for me. I get achievements for games I enjoy playing.

I go for trophies when I play Vita/PS3, and Game Center achievements when playing iOS games.

If I had Steam, I'd probably try and get some on there too.

this is like watching a guy rub his cock against some felt barn animal playset thinking he's getting some

then, whilst being offered some actual human interaction , he simply says "fuzzy felt is fine actually"

there's only so much you can give in sympathy before you just have to cut the driftwood, you know?

Well keep watching and enjoy the show, there's plenty of felt to go around.

You will eventually accept your steam overlords - you can only fight it so long

Steam is meh. Lots of my console games ain't there. It's mostly late western ports or ones that require installing another exe like Origin.

Why bother really? I'm just keeping it for some gems like Ys even if I already have it on my Vita.

Actually I just uninstalled it. Fuck this STEAM IS UPDATING noise.
