Title: I really, really SUCK at RE4 -- advice needed
Post by: Van Cruncheon on January 14, 2007, 05:16:03 PM: I got the 'pube version of RE4 for like $8, as opposed to the $17 they wanted for the definitive PS2 edition.

Anyway, I died like three minutes into the game. I killed the first hillbilly duder, got some ammo, jumped out a window, and then got mobbed by three hillbilly duders who refused to die -- and then I myself died.

Is there ANY WAY to map look to the C-stick? I keep trying to aim with it. Also, do headshots count for more? The aiming is so frickin' turgid in this game.

Post by: demi on January 14, 2007, 05:22:30 PM: Go for the kneecaps and ROUNDHOUSE EM, though headshots work too, its just cooler to roundhouse them as it saves ammo

And I don't think you can map anything, to look you have to go into aiming mode

Post by: Human Snorenado on January 15, 2007, 04:40:20 AM: After a while, I started playing on higher levels and would just kneecap zombies one at a time, then dart in and knife them to kill them off. This conserved ammo at higher levels for peskier things, and I felt like a bad ass.
