That's a good deal! Hopefully it happens again cause I spent my steam credit on DmC.

There's usually a Halloween sale near the end of October, there's a possibility the RE games might be on sale again then.

RE6's opening is worse than Dead Space 3's.   At least RE6 has fun combat with all the John Woo flipping and rolling.

Other than the intro I played the mercenaries mode with left 4 dead characters.  In L4D2, Nick gets smacked silly by a tank.  In RE6, Nick can shoot a freeze-grenade mid-dive and shatter the tank with kung fu.  Outsource L4D3 to one of 600+ people who made this game.

Yes.

Rev > 6 > Operation Raccoon City.

In terms of last three titles.

Otherwise it's like

4 > 5 > Rev > having sex with a cactus with HIV > 6 > being HIV positive > ORC.

Havent played the console version, but based off 3DS, RE6 is much better. This game was just a big slog. No mystery, no puzzles, no nothin.

Resident Evil 6

So, I played for like 30 minutes this morning, and saw no manual save option anywhere, because allegedly the game auto-saves - but NOPE, booted it up just now and I have to start the whole fucking game over again. RE Revelations, on the other hand, which is a fucking port of a 3DS game, allows me to manually save.

Capcom, you are a piss-poor excuse for a game company.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me with RE6 the first time. It doesn't autosave until you beat the entire shitty intro.

ugh, yeah, I only had to play like five more minutes before it saved, that would have been good info to know beforehand, CAPCOM

same thing happened to me. then i got past the intro and into the main game and realized that not only are the checkpoints stupidly far apart, but if you quit in a level then you have to start ALL THE WAY BACK AT THE START OF THE LEVEL. fuck capcom for thinking its still the ps2 era with these bullshit ass savepoints. havent touched the game in months.

me too.  I looked up how to adjust the FOV and someone said you do it through the main menu, not the in-game cellphone.  I went to quit and it says "unsaved progress will be lost," so I play until I hit a checkpoint.  Quit out, see no main menu; only option to start again from the beginning of the prologue.  You have to finish the prologue to use the main menu  >:(

Wow. That is beyond stupid. I don't remember any artsy fartsy indie games doing shit like this.

When does RE6 save in the game proper? I kept playing Leon's campaign until the end of Chapter 1, which took over an hour.  Can you save during chapters?

Whenever you see the typewriter icon, it's saving

seems pretty random to me

Once I can get the PS3 version for $10, it's all mine.
