Graphics are a lot nicer. There's a number of small incidental additions as you explore around. The final game has the mod endings plus a few more.

what's the big deal with this anyway? i saw some indie site recomending it back when it was still a mod but "NOT TELLING WHAT'S THE ACTUAL GAME BECAUSE IT WOULD SPOIL IT AND THEN IT WOULD BE POINTLESS" and i backed away because it sounded like the usual stupid indie thingie where they force artsy fartsy with choice's or fourth wall breaking

I'm more or less predisposed to hate these kind of games, and more widely any kind of absurdist or existential work of art. This kind of game really butts heads with my desire for order and logical, numerical-based rulesets that I am enjoy in the games I play.

But I find myself liking the way that this game is presented, It's very much a stretch for me to enjoy it, but I played through about four endings and am looking forward to playing some more this evening. So this game must be the very best thing ever if you *do* like this kind of game.

I'm curious about exactly how many "endings" this game has. How many secret alternate areas and branching paths are there. As far as I can tell, I've seen pretty much all the primary endings except for one which seems to require solving a puzzle in a set amount of time.

i saw a let's play of this while searching for stuff to try and decided to buckle in (yes i know,now i will be that asshole that decided to spit on something and then eat it anyway,suck on my dick,i'm a sharkkkkkkkkk)

i like a lot of the things the game does but let's be fair,it's a glorified choose your adventure book and hardly this amazing clever work of fiction that you would get from opening the trailer with "IT'S AMAZING BUT I CAN'T TELL YOU WHY!"

It's a clever piece of interactive work. It's quite funny at times.

If you are actually expecting anything remotely resembling a game though take a pass. It's artsy as hell.


I will say that I don't things like this should be reviewed in the typical format they use on other stuff. It's almost pointless to assign a number to this experience and then compare it to a traditional game. Its not fair to either.

I'm fine with numbers for things that sort of fit together within a genre. It's completely subjective of course and its sort of bizarre to compare widely disparate genres even for traditional games but I guess I'm at least use to the dissonance there.

It just seems completely weird here to me though. This is like a meta-commentary about videogames more than a videogame itself.  It's more relevant to read what someone liked about this experience than assigning a score to it because there aren't genre conventions in place and standardized features. You can argue that's the case with some other stuff but its even more apt here.

In my completely objective, science based rating system, games get assigned scores based on the "out of 5 boners" scale.

I also have been finding a computer terminal that says "Awaiting input". Found it like 4 times so far and keep filling the bar but I need to find it once more to fill it and haven't gotten it to spawn yet. Dunno if it's related.

I don't think you do. This is the game laughing at 'cinematic' shooty game endings like you get in Call of Duty or Bioshock Infinite.
