Fucking love the Lego games. So ready for this to arrive
-
I will get the vita version if it doesn't turn out gimped.
-
I will, but not immediately. I'm still working through Lego Batman 2 with my son. There is a lot of stuff to do. Mostly it's tedious, but less so than Lego Star Wars and the first Lego Batman. The open world format, after the initial adventures, is pretty fun. All the little traversal "puzzles" (all the needed Suits are available) are fun.
I'm curious how well they'll adapt for Marvel stuff. Most of the DC stuff has been quite funny and clearly fan-oriented.
-
Man I didn't even get the DC Lego games and I love DC. :-\
-
I kind of want it... I hope it has better load times than Lego City. Does anyone know if Graham Goring was on the writing team on this one?
-
We got all the characters except the last in Lego Batman 2, but fuck Supergirl. Game was rad. Flying around Gotham :rock
Gamefly shipped this morning :hyper

It's gimped.
-
in what way?
-
I think the Vita games are DS "upgrades"
the LotR one was not very good.
-
Wow this game looks great
IT'S MAHVEL BAYBEE
-
I like the Lego games but I haven't played one in like a hell of a long time. Maybe the Indiana Jones one I think. If this one is decent, I wouldn't mind trying it.

Sho Nuff you should come over this weekend and bro-op it with me
I've been burned more than once by Z-grade LEGO games but this one seems to have all the bells and whistles
-
I've never played any of these Lego games before. This is pretty cheap on Steam. Hmm...
in what way?

That sounds about right. I saw some brief game play and it had an overhead view with set missions. The developers don't say that it's not open-world, but also avoid the question when asked.

Every time a new LEGO game comes out, they always trick me into thinking it's going to be awesome this time, but it never is.
-
Even Lego Batman 2? That game was awesome to co-op through!
-
Yeah, Lego Batman 2 is pretty great.
Open-world flying with Superman is not so hot when trying to do fine maneuvers to get to a Gold Brick, though. :maf
-
up too late, read "Who's getting Lee Marvin?"
boy, I wouldn't mind having one of those.
-
I picked this up last night, played about 30 minutes. Holy crap this game is complicated for something aimed at 5-year olds. There's like 200 characters and all sorts of one-off environmental cues. It's not like you're going to die or anything but I still spent a lot of time trying to figure out just WTF I'm supposed to be doing (Hulk picks up heavy objects and smashes walls, Banner builds things, Iron Man's rockets destroys silver objects, Spider-Man can sense invisible objects and pull handles). I guess I thought it would be a good game to co-op with the non-gamer wife and she was completely overwhelmed.

what about vita what about vita
-
Vita is dead. Enjoy your 3DS ports.

Co-op'd the first couple levels with my step son last night, game is fucking awesome.
