I wasn't able to find my Bane costume (procrastination is a bitch) and I'm too cheap to order it online.  I think I would have made a good Bane too... :(

I haven't participated in Halloween since college.  It's probably my most hated holiday alongside St. Patricks day.

Anytime I hear the word spooky, I think of Spooky Mormon Hell Dream from The Book of Mormon. Heh.

Taking my daughter trick or treating, going to dinner with some of our friends with kids, and then watching Shaun of the Dead with the wife after Lil' Gundam goes to sleep.

Also, I'm in my traditional Halloween work attire: black overcoat, black slacks, gray sweater, white dress shirt and a Gryffindor tie. Walked through the cafeteria at lunch time and heard a ton of kids saying "hey look, there's Harry Potter." "No dude, that's Mr. George."

At my other school, some kids thought I was Doctor Who. That was kinda cool.

Ugh, had some kids at the door just now. I didn't know who the fuck it could be at this time, but then I heard shrieking children calling for their mom who had presumably escorted them. Sat the fuck back down and kept playing video games.

Wrong nation, kids. I'm not prepared for this shit.

No plans yet for Halloween, this year I didn't even bother trying to find a costume. Maybe tomorrow I'll try and see if anything fun is going on.

We made 30 something treat bags and have already handed them all out as well as a large cauldron of candy. Jesus what got into people this year? Last year I had barely anyone here. WOW

As expected my decorations are getting a lot of praise which is nice since I have limited room to be able to pull stuff off

Last night we had more than ever.  They were still coming around after 9.  Usually by 8 30 it's dead in our neighborhood, especially on a school night.  We actually ran out of candy.  I guess it saves my fatass from eating it.  Oh well.

We only had a dozen kids... Last ones came at 9:30 or so, after almost an hour of zero traffic. I dumped the whole bowl (probably $30 in candy) in kid's bags. I was their hero for a few moments.

When I came home from trick or treating the bowl I left was 95% filled since I live on a side street and rarely get people. When I went out an hour later the bowl was empty. Some little jerk helped himself to a ton of candy >:( I hope they're happy. I could use a left over hershey bar right now :'(

I had two Trick or Treaters last night around 7:45pm. They each got half the bowl of Sour Patch Kids bags, so probably 1/2-1 pound each.

So the best costume I saw last night? This guy was OG Ricardo Montalban Kahn. Absolutely amazing costume, everything was perfect.

His son was dressed up as Kirk. Kahn was taking Kirk Trick or Treating. Loved it.
