met Katie Holmes when I was a kid and she came over for a party my sis threw in our basement, she was in my sisters class. Also met her again after my family saw her in a play, it was literally the night before she flew out to Hollywood.

met bassist for Aerosmith in a Captiva Island giftshop, I was staring at one of those pendulum things that make patterns in sand and he mentioned to me that he had one, a much bigger one, in his foyer of his house. The cashier told me who he was, had no idea. It turns out Steven Tyler and him both own mansions on the island.

I saw Robin Williams shuffling along Clement Street in San Francisco, near Green Apple Books; he was trying not to be recognized, and was walking really furtively. He looked half-homeless.

Max Hardcore at LAX, near the domestic gates. Dude was stomping around in a cowboy hat and looked pissed off.

Quentin Tarantino and I used to talk a lot when he was a video clerk in Manhattan Beach. I was also friends with the girl he named the chopper after, and the real-life Winston Wolff. I knew Roger Avery as well, but we didn't really talk. Steve-O was a dick.

My mom is friends with Ralph Maccio's wife but I haven't met him before.

There was a news story about him a few months ago while he was on tour. A couple was on their way to one of his concerts and was running late. They met him at the side of the road a few miles away from the venue. His bicycle had broken down. They gave him a ride to his own concert.

A few years ago I was at Universal Studios park in Orlando. Warwick Davis was there signing autographs. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and almost ran over him while he was walking away. I apologized to him and said, "Hey, you're Warwick Davis. Good job, man."
