So I just did a ton of research into this...

Inori Aizawa started out as the doujin creation of a Singaporean art group.
She's being announced in advance of the Singapore AFA (Anime Festival of Asia)
This is an English-language campaign targeted at Singaporeans.
It's NOT from Japan, as much as they would seem to be to blame.
Her initials are "Ai I" (IE).
