Title: What do NNIDs actually do?
Post by: Sho Nuff on December 17, 2013, 06:20:17 PM
So I just went through the agonizing pain of setting up an ID on both my 3DS and my Weeoo. Does this mean that Nintendo has gotten away from the thing where all of your purchases are tied to the hardware? What if there is a purchase that you bought before the new system was implemented? I don't have the slightest fucking clue as to how any of this works, and Google is just full of forum threads of arguing distinguished mentally-challenged fellows.

I really want to buy a new line of Sega 3-D classics, but I still don't trust anything that is tied to hardware.

Also, I like how the screenshots / videos in the store aren't actually in 3D

Navigating the 3DS and Weeoo interfaces reminds me of when I was using the masterpiece of internet services that was Squaresoft's Playonline
