Title: Shout outs to everyone heating up leftovers in the oven

Anyone else about this life?

Still have a bunch of Christmas leftovers (spaghetti, fried fish, stuffing, green beans, you know the typical stuff). Heating it up in the oven makes it taste like I just finished making it, whereas all the microwave does is make shit soggy or boring.

Heading to my grandparents for happy hour/leftovers in a couple hours. My pop makes the best turkey stew after holiday dinners

They make microwave safe lids/covers and steamers that can help bring those leftovers back to life.

Also, your microwave should have a setting that allows you to cook at a lower wattage of power. Putting some leftovers on 100% blast for three minutes is going to remove alot of the moisture out of that food and make it taste dry and chewy.

Also, you have to remove it a few times and stir the shit around. Can't just let the outside get blasted while the inside barely gets warmed up.

Also, unless it's some deep dish thickness, reheating pizza is dumb

This is a Dominican tradition, can't wait to heat up the new years dinner leftovers thats when it tastes the best :lawd
