All three of em.
Activates on Origin, but what can do you? :yeshrug
3 is Origin only anyway. If you've got the first two elsewhere you can register the codes on there so you'll have all three together on there at least.

will wait til ea gets off their asses and releases the trilogy with dlc included

Got damn I'm an idiot. I was cutting and posting without even reading what I was cutting and pasting.

Play ME2
Play ME3: Citadel
Doing it that way means passing over the single best questline in the trilogy: Lair of the Shadowbroker.

Whatevs. Play the ME2 DLC as well.
The point is, don't play ME3.

get over it man.

I wanna play the ME3 DLC, EA needs to put that crap on sale.

Get over what? I would make the same recommendation if someone wanted to play the Dead Space series. The third entry in both are deeply disappointing and can very easily sour our opinion on the series entirely. It's better to be skipped because there's barely any meaningful benefit to see the content.

And devalue the IP?

I don't know man. ME3 is pretty bad. It's not even the ending. It's the lack of side content. Whats there is basically over hear this dude say something and then go find it. Lacking any of the side story storytelling that was in previous games. Then there are side missions that are straight up horde missions, obviously a sign of rushed development where they had to re-usethe multiplayer stuff. There's some ok side stuff, but it's overrun with this lackluster stuff.
Then there's some of the iffy storytelling. The reapers suck. I never liked the ancient evil twist, it was always lame. Instead I would have perferd just "human" enemies from aliens who just dislkiked mankind. The series set-up this politically interesting universe and then did away with it. But the reapers are boring antagonist in this game. Why fear them when I can just use the hammer of dawn? But it's the resolutions to many plotlines that are lacking. From the character of Tali, Cerberus's turn, the whole specter thing becoming useless, the reaper's purpose, the solution to the reapers, and so on. it was just very hackyed and un-fulfilling to me.
As were your party members who you have so little interaction with. In one, after every mission I would talk to them. They have nothing to say in 3 and especially that marine dude, who I hoped would beat the stereotype. He dosen't and is just a boring good olde marine. Maybe I would have thought the new party members were ok if EA did'nt keep the story relevant one behind a pay-wall.
It was just kind of a mediocre sequel to something that should have been a grand finale.

I won't argue the quality of ME 3. We had that debate all over the ME 3 thread. Everybody is entitled to their opinion. That being said, I still get the feeling some people won't let the butt-hurt go. Not to mention I would argue the actual gameplay of the game is fine or at least fine relative to the overall quality level of the series. What seems to be the hang-up is the ending. I'm not sure risking $4 on a game that undeniably is a good/fun game to play but a questionable ending is something debatable.
I think TLOU is a worse game (Far worse than ME3) and more over-rated than any big title this year. But I'm not going to rehash a rant on it for a sale price of $4. But opinions and all that.

sometimes i wish you were more committed to being less wrong

I didn't really like the constant war/threat of war storyline in ME3 as much as the episodic, Star Trek-style stories of ME2.

add brightbats to your origin friends list if you wanna play some ME3 multi sometime. I rock that shit.
