Many LOLZ. I was suspicious, since the same folks who recommended it to me also recommended the unfunny Talladega Nights and Anchorman. I'm totally growin' a cop 'stache.
-
Because of this movie, every time Brian Cox was onscreen in Troy, my friend would lean over and say, "Hey Ursula...I'm NAKED"
-
But do you like it more than Club Dread?
-
I haven't seen Club Dread.
-
Clud Dread is pretty bad, Ramathorn is the only character I liked in the movie. I thought Beerfest was better than Super Troopers me, my friends, and the whole theater laughed the whole movie.
-
Beerfest is teh funny, Drinky. Check it out.
So, Evilbore, should I watch the first American Pie straight to DVD movie and review it?
-
Club Dread is awful, but Super Troopers is probably the best R-rated comedy in decades. Beerfest has its moments, but it's no Super Troopers!
Hey - it's Afghanistanimation!
"Next person who says shenanigans is going to get pistol whipped!" "Hey, Farva, what's that restaurant that you always like to go to?" "SHENANIGANS!?!"
-
There does seem to be a contingent of people that like Club Dread. They are teh distinguished mentally-challenged.
-
I really don't know why. After Club Dread and Dukes of Hazzard, I was going to write off the Broken Lizard guys as a fluke... but Beerfest has salvaged their reputation in my eyes. They're still on the bubble, though!

Yeah, Beerfest is a good one, but I agree, it's no Super Troopers. I only have watched Beerfest once, but I think I recall it going for the obvious a bit too much.
-
How was Beerfest anyway?
ST = awesome
CD = laughably bad
DH = no laughs, just bad :(
-
Beerfest was good but Super Troopers is a classic.
"Hey Farva, what's the name of that restaurant you like??"
-
O'Hagen: I swear to God, I'll pistol whip the next guy that says 'shenanigans!'
Mac: Hey Farva, what's the name of that restaurant you like with all the goofy shit on the walls and the mozzarella sticks?
Farva: You mean Shenanigans? You're talking about Shenanigans, right?!
:rofl :rofl :rofl
-
Afghanistanimation made me lol, 'specially when they had the German dude translating. I like that they play the gags straight, unlike, say, that talentless fuck Will Farell.
-
The movie just gets better with every viewing. :lol
-
I love that bit where they state police have Farva butt naked and are delousing him:
"It's just standard procedure."
"... but it's sugar!"
"... The lice hate the sugar."

It's delicious, sir!
-
every scene with Farva was awesome.
-
I like how the "big fight" at the climax is purposely as anti-climactic as it could be.
-
I was interested in seeing Super Troopers, but a bunch of us had rented Club Dread before I got around to it, and Club Dread was completely fucking awful. Not one laugh among us through the whole movie. When even titties can't save your movie, it's bad. Now I am hesitant to watch ST, because the only impression I am left with of Broken Lizard is that they are the least talented comedy troupe in the history of comedy troupes.
-
I don't know wtf happened between ST and CD, but they went from hilariously awesome to mind-numbingly bad.
-
Club dread sucked hard.
Super Troopers is indeed hilarious. Rent it Eel_O_Brian!

Holy shit that was great.
I haven't seen this movie enough, just a couple of times. It does get better every time you see it. And that cute blonde could even give TVC a boner.
