i stopped playing 13-2 because for some reason the game would froze at a certain spot but honestly it was no big loss, enemies in FF13 hits hard so it keep you in your toe with all the paradigm switching but in 13-2 you barely have to bother and the encounter rate is so damn high it makes thing a complete chore, and the plot is total nojima non-sense about parallel dimensions and time travel and what-not,and of course almost every enemy is recycled from FF13... some of the location too!
people says "ehy at least it's not as linear as 13" yeah... you get to pick whatever of two location you want to go first and then are forced to do both anyway, there is this part where you go through this tower (the bit where the game froze) and it's just a whole bunch of switch to push here and there while you get pestered by random encounter and i wanted to eat my face off

the side quest are all small stuff too a-la FFX-2 monkey, there is one where you have to rescue some flan monster and it just involve wandering around and finding them and it's so dang unremarkable,if you think they put at least some side activity to do... yeah there is a casino with slot machine
and DLC poker... yep...
Lol. Sounds like a strike two for me. FFXIII is a strike one. Been waiting on that strike two for FF but I haven't played XIII-2 yet. Let's see if Lightning Returns is a strike two. Strike three means I'm done with FF.
It's best just to lump everything in that fabulous nova 7 year ff project together as a failure and give them a shot at the next ff after they've moved past this all.
Unfortunately that doesn't imply good things for versus either, gotta believe in the nomura/nojima combo magic for that one.
himurette might be saying that but i bet she can't wait to suck the dick of all the versus pretty boys :heh
