Is that from spelunky. did you SPOIL THE GAME for me?
I'm of mixed opinion on this. One hand I'm always for freedom of rights.
On the other hand I find stoners and people who are overly into weed to be some of the most annoying people on the planet.
Decisions Decisions...

It would be great if some of the new pot stores in Seattle distance themselves from stereotypical pot/stoner culture. We'll see.
Citing "stoner culture" as a reason against legalization is like calling on alcohol to be banned again because of frat boys.

But how else do I get to be a contrarian rebel?

Coming from you this strikes me as a little funny. But I will digress.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) said Thursday that he's open to marijuana decriminalization in the Lone Star state.
“As governor, I have begun to implement policies that start us toward a decriminalization," Perry said at a World Economic Forum panel on drug legalization in Davos, Switzerland, according to the San Antonio Express-News. He was referring to "drug courts" in the state that provide treatment and softer penalties for minor offenses.

But Obama’s approval ratings are mired in the low 40s, a reality he partially—and unconvincingly—attributes to racism: “There’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black president.”
The beer and pharma lobbyists have to be freaking out on how quick this push has been.
You took an L, Himu. No weed for you.
That would cost like $400The beer and pharma lobbyists have to be freaking out on how quick this push has been.
why can't they find some way to include weed in their products? well, then again, decriminalization isn't legalization. Still, I dream of this.

Holy shit just googled, they're selling ounces in stores for 400 in Colorado because of the demand being way above supply, that's like double the black market in Oregon. What a joke. If they were smart they'd have written the law so that the supply would crush the demand, resulting in a taxable market place that would eliminate pot dealers with low prices.Over time it definitely will. The industry just has to get rolling first. LOL See what I did there? Rolling.
What do you expect from the author of "The Declaration of Independents: How Libertarian Politics Can Fix What's Wrong with America"?

There is no reason legalized weed should cost that much. Even with super high taxes and greedy growers. Its a plant based commodity ffs.
I'm not sure about WA, but in CO there are lots of limitations on who can grow it, how much they can grow, etc etc. Just because it's been legalized doesn't mean it's unregulated, y'all.
Also, I'm pretty sure (about 99.44%) that buying any weed from out of state to resell in your legal retail store is a big no no. Couple that with the fact that since it's a crop, there's a grow cycle, harvesting, curing etc until you have a product ready for sale and add in out of state weed tourists wanting to smoke legal weed and you have a supply shortage. It ain't rocket science.
Celebrating a death is something split on. On one hand, I dont mind spitting on the memory of a shit human : see ariel sharon thread, but I would never do it publically like organizing a party or having a 'x died this day' movement. Thats corny. Fukk Bin Laden though.
What is a good movie on netflix that is funny as Fuck..?

YOU JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND BEING WHITE, OK? GOSH.
Currently, Missouri has some of the harshest marijuana laws in the country. Possession of any amount of marijuana — even as little as a gram — can be punished by up to a year in prison and a $1,000 fine under state law.
Possession of over 35 grams — about 1.25 ounces — is a felony subject to a prison sentence of up to seven years and a $5,000 fine.

we'll pass it about 25 years after everyone else does, or after we find an easier excuse to put black people in jail
The 1970 Controlled Substances Act, which created five tiers of restricted drugs, says the attorney general may "remove any drug or other substance from the schedules if he finds that the drug or other substance does not meet the requirements for inclusion in any schedule."
If a substance is banned by international treaties – as marijuana is – the law grants the attorney general the power to place it "under the schedule he deems most appropriate."
Rep. Earl Blumenauer, D-Ore., tells U.S. News it's "very clear" that the law "actually permits reclassification administratively."
"I don't dispute that Congress could and should make the change, but it's also something the administration could do in a matter of days and I hope they will consider it," says Blumenauer, who is currently circulating a letter among colleagues asking Obama to do so. Eight members of Congress have signed the letter so far.
naw man,
i got some bread and put peanut butter on it, then I took a table spoon of ground up weed, spread it around evenly, pre-heated oven at 250, wrapped the sandwich in foil, and then cooked for 20-22 minutes and cut into quarters. Don't do it with dank, that's a waste of dank. I got shit weed tho so it's just perfect for the job.
First time making edibles.
here's where i found the recipe.
http://beyondchronic.com/2012/01/how-to-blast-off-nutella-firecrackers/
I would imagine it tastes weedier than a well strained butter since the material is still in there. Might be worth it for convenience though :obamaThat's my thought on it too. Sometimes I'm just lazy.
And fuck Obama. He's like "well I blahblah marijauan is no worse than alcyhol" and then when pressed to take marijuana from schedule 1 he's all,"I don't have that power." Mind, this is one day - literally - after a state of the union address that said he was going to be using executive power more often. He could have used executive ordered MJ from schedule 1 yeaaaaars ago. But now he doesn't have the power. Mmm hm. Right.
Oh now that was a good laugh
I wanna know about European prohibition.
I don't usually smoke, more of an edible person, but I've been trying out weed as an abatement/abortive method for my disease over the past week and it's actually been pretty effective. Just not really cost effective to down an edible every night. It's pretty surprising because for most people with my condition it's a big, big pain trigger (~75% of folks will immediately get a headache with any THC in their system, ~3% show any positive effects from it). I'll start seeing diminishing returns in about a month or so but for now it's pretty nice to finally have a treatment option. Nothing short of massively expensive options worked previous.
Anyway, right now I'm smoking Skywalker and Cherry Pie. Strains that lean more toward hallucinogenic/euphoric experiences seem to be more effective in the limited amount of research done (mushrooms are literally the single most effective abortive treatment we know, but are a bit more uh...intense to get. I'm on a wait list for a clinical trial with them tho). Anyone have any suggestions on what strains I can move toward?
are bad shroom highs likely
Dabs and concentrates are nice, they definitely do the trick (and how!) but there's just something romanticized about burning flowers.
thought this'd be a good place to ask: ive had a magic flight box for a few years now, early on one of the batteries it came with stopped working, i think the white label around the top came off or some shit? anyway i had a good one for years, so i was okay.
lent it to a friend (ugh) and now it doesnt work/light up. ordered these replacements:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A9KTPY8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
still doesn't light up after charging em in the charger said flight box brought. am i boned? any ideas?
I've taken a mouth swab test
Mouth swab tests aren't that bad. Hair tests should be illegal. The only drug that stays in your body for months like that is weed.
Hell, I don't know why conservatives in general seem to support the drug war beyond racism.
Large corporations are all about that hair test. Think it helps them with insurance or someshit
Limit your career trajectory for short term smelly thrills, brehs
I check my techs about 3-4 times a year.
I check my techs about 3-4 times a year.
Are these because of bonding requirements to get contracts from the government?
3-4 times a year is a lot though. I was in IBEW for a couple years when I worked for Toshiba. We only got tested once to get the job. There was a possibility of randoms, but I never knew anyone who got one.

Shit, I make almost as much money as anybody in this thread, and there never is any drug testing in my line of work. :patel :tauntaun :aah
Only big Corp I've ever worked at as a non-entry level person was Apple and they didn't test. But then again, it's Apple lol.Large corporations are all about that hair test. Think it helps them with insurance or someshit
Pretty much spot on...depending on what level you're being evaluated to be hired on.
Low/Entry level? Probably urine test unless travel is part of the job.
Mid/Mid High level management or higher salaried employees: Hair Test
Executive or Higher: None
i want weed so bad, and dkdk, what if they give you a hair or urinal test?

Smoked a bit in Denver. Had a one delicious cookie edible and was fuuuuuuucking stoned. Watched Shrek 8 times with my friends. Each time in a different language and/or commentary language
My smoking XP consists of a couple puffs of a cigar and one hit of what I assume was shitty NY weed. I have no interest in smoking now given the health issues and smell but more power to yall.
Been thinking about buying a plenty, from the folks that brought you the volcano. Anyone ever use one?Damn the Mighty looks pretty cool. I dunno about $400 cool though.
Edit: got a mighty -- holy shit this thing is awesome
Ah man, I'd smoke you out if I wasn't so exhausted from moving shit, Swishercat
Pretty much the biggest turn off from vaping tbh. Cost of entry is way too high too get a decent one, and I prefer smoking anyway.
I haven't thought about it til PD brought it up, but is smoking weed pretty heavy on the lungs? I'm a pack a day smoker so I can't tell the difference :/ I'd always thought the carcinogen risk was negligible compared to cigarettes
The plenty is real solid. Kind of awkward to pass around and yeah it looks like a power tool.
More importantly though, it's easy to use and puts out thick vapor. The filling chamber is huge too.
The crafty and mighty looked good, but I didn't need the portability.
I'll never use the flight box again after getting the plenty.
Well, I think I might in luck because I bought a friend of a friend's artwork (for $250) and that artist dude (a known stoner) is inviting me to his birthday party in December so... :doge
I feel bad for folks who have to work so hard to get stoned. I went from renting my basement to a dude with a medical grow op, to living in a state where I can just buy it in a store. Having to have a relationship with a dealer sounds exhausting :doge

Nah. Mines been a hippie hot chick for 10 years. We listen to hip hop, my wife eats all her chips, and we do our thing.
Just a part of monthly date weekend bro. Tradition.
^Nah, they're still looking out for it. I know at least 3 people who've gotten busted for getting packages, though I guess most people wouldn't call what they had a 'small amount' and nothing really ever happened other than probation/one of them losing his license for some dumb reason
Far from it. South Carolina.Ah. No wonder you're struggling.
