It also doesnt help that i've got mono flaring up again or some fucking lymphatic cold shit.

Post by: TVC15 on January 17, 2007, 12:50:44 PM: Distantmantra saw that screen and asked me if it was cell-shaded. The textures in the new areas are definitely better than the older ones. They really do have a very authentic "drawn" look to them.

Really? What about EQ2? I'm pretty sure its graphics engine kills WoW's.

I wasn't talking just MMO's though, I just meant in general, WoW is a really good looking game despite being so simplistic graphically (I've also played it myself).

And yes, WoW looks better than the other MMOs out there, at least the real 3d modeled ones. EQ is fuglio. Plus, it's style of art will age slower. The next wave of MMOs look better though. Tabula Rose and Conan look pretty good. Aion looks nice, but I fear it may become vaporware and the worry is always "grindfest?"
