Title: MLB 2014 Thread of pitching and catching
Post by: Human Snorenado on February 05, 2014, 10:15:56 PM
Cranky old white person's pastime is coming back soon, brehs

In the NL East, the Braves just gave out the richest contract in team history:

Which will still probably be a bargain on our end.

Meanwhile, don't fret Cajole! The Mets have been busy too...

I don't see it. They lost Peralta and basically replaced his production with Kinsler, Fielder is gone (he had an admittedly disappointing year and sucked balls in the playoffs), and they traded away their 4th (really good) starter, Fister, for nothing. But who knows, they were a bullpen away from getting to the World Series last year, and that division sucks so they'll make the playoffs for sure.

Looking forward to the revamped A's bullpen.

Not looking forward to their barely there offense.
