Title: 2014 Football (Soccer) Thread
Post by: Himu on February 06, 2014, 05:38:36 PM
New year, new thread.

I apparently now have NBC Sports Network? :gladbron

Hopefully it's not just for the Olympics. Now I can finally watch EPL matches live without streaming. :lawd

Current news:

David Beckham is the owner of a MLS team! In...Miami.  :goty2

Chelsea has risen a lot with their win over Man City on Monday. Fuck off Mourinho! This has been a very good season. Man U is what, rank 8 7 (apparently) now? What a bad year for them. :heh

Real Madrid and FC Barcelona aren't at the top of La Liga! Altetico Madrid is kicking ass. Let's hope it stays that way.

Haven't stayed current on Bundesliga but Serie A is getting interesting. I watched the Roma-Napoli Coppa Italia was light night, I caught the last 40 minutes and it was pretty solid.

I really hope Atletico keeps winning and remains their standing but yesterdays match with Real doesn't bode well.

This is a very good time to get into the sport btw. Competitive as fuck and top teams are now starting to get into rebuild mode.

fantastic year this year - super competitive at the top of the Premier , Real/Barca NOT top of La Liga at this point - United -absolutely- sucking, as many as 14 teams in the premiership in danger of relegation, Ipswich in with a shout of promotion, Sheff Utd possibly going down to the FOURTH level of English football, Sunderland in one of the cup finals after beating United (ho ho ho), etc etc....

I wish I could watch Bundesliga. :(

All the good games have great streams on wiziwig.tv, especially if you're willing to use sopcast or similar stuff. Although your bayern boys are crushing anybody in the league right now anyways, so the race for the title isn't really exciting.

Im gonna give this homo sport a try. Seems its more fun if you have a team to stan

St Louis is a good city for soccer. It isn't epl or anything but you guys have a pro indoor soccer team.

Go to a match. See how you like it. Tix should be cheap. Don't worry bout bad seats. Never had to worry about that at any soccer game I've been to but then again I've only been to games here.

If you're interested there's bound to be an amazing match sometime this week in one of the pro European leagues. I'll hit you up with it.

I've wanted to go to an indoor soccer match for a while. Looks cool as shit.

My favorite part of the game. Suarez just going ham and not giving a fuck. If that scored I would have died in laughter. The balls on that man. :lol
