I just endlessly insult most women on the internet. At least the ones that come to play on Team Fortress 2. They're unfunny, annoying and stupid.:snoop
I had to donate my nipples to Wrath after a freak skiing accident.
I'm that freetard Google Nintard fanboy manbaby, among other things.
dunno about that lame windblows but u should totally get a Samsung Series 5™
def the best notebook ever
Nintendo still makes great games. I wouldn't be a Nintendo fan anymore if that weren't the case. The problem is that they've mismanaged their home console in several ways.
I think they've done a good job with the 3DS so far though, outside the eShop interface being a bloated mess.
Google+ is a better Facebook and a better Tumblr mixed into one, with a little Twitter sprinkled on top, and with Buzz acting like the hot fudge at the bottom.

Jesus Christ, I've really made over 20k posts here?

Ghostbusters 2 was okay, but man that ending was lame. Oh, I know, we'll use the Statue of Liberty to rally all New Yorkers together and use the power of their good feelings to defeat Vigo. *vomit*
As far as most improved sequel over the original, I'd say The Road Warrior.
Hwo the fuck did Presitge crack the top 250 on IMDB? I heard it was shit from almost everybody. :S
You heard wrong.
Apocalypse Now is an amazing movie.
I guess the movie is going to suck then.
Well, it's the sequel to Fantastic Four 1, so it pretty much goes without saying.
Spartacus is awesome, but Dr. Strangelove is quintessential Kubrick.
If Oprah's in it, then it must be good.
Think of this as an intervention.
I too was drawn in by the allure of IRC. A gathering of like-minded individuals that vaguely share some sort of connection (gaming, pro wrestling, anime, laverne and shirley, etc), but really are just bored and agorophobic to certain degrees. A communion of misery, if you will.
Early 1998, the internet was just shaking off it's AOL-boom hangover and IRC offered you something more than the shitastic chatrooms on MSN, AOL or the like. There was control over the asshole population .. there was collaborations of people with similar interests ... there was automated trivia! Ahhh .. a new age had risen. Sending fake links of goatse was still hilarious and people actually posted messages on Usenet.
At the time, it seemed like a novel way to stay on top of current internet events and still keep the coffee house/bar appeal. Anyone could walk in and pull up a chair ... anyone could rant on whatever they wanted. Freedom of expression .. in real time.
But, in actuality, it was a bunch of miscreants from around the country that were 1) too broke to do anything else 2) too afraid to interact with real people 3) a way for weak-minded people to feel powerful in a virtual world.
Number 3 is the one that always bothered me. It seemed like the ones who seek moderation are the ones who least deserve it. People devoid of personality, so they use authority (or this virtual authority) to create some sort of persona. A way to curry favor with others that had personalities. Cliques.
And that is the shitty irony of it all ... People that were ostracised or made miserable by the cliques of High School ... Carry that burden into their adult lives and then repeat that process in an on-line forum or chat room. How many times have you been in an IRC chatroom and all the "regulars" never even chat? They send IM's to those they want to interact with. Hours and hours of idling in IRC interacting with only those you deem worthy. You truly do become what you hate.
So, do yourself a favor. Delete IRC off of your hard drives. You are wasting your lives. There are 1000 other hobbies that are actually good for your mind and soul. Not chat rooms.

I want to kill myself for this
i just woke up, covered in someone else's blood, on a new forum and i seem to have misplaced my pants
I love it when I walk in and they're in the middle of some random employee argument/debate comedy sketch and I have to tap someone to get them to pay some fucking attention to their job. Fuck game stores. Best Buy sells all the new games I want, I get Reward Zone points, they don't offer to fuck me on game trades, and no one says shit to me. This is how I like my retail stores - silent. Again, I cannot overstress how important this shutting the fuck up is to me. Push the goddamned buttons on the register, let me swipe my card, put the game in the bag, and tell me to have a nice day. I will tell you to have a nice day yourself, sugar tits, and leave happy. Any extraneous conversation beyond that just makes me want to kill you.

No Gambits for me! I am having loads of fun micromanaging the fuck out of Final Fantasy XII.
Seriously, what the fuck were you thinking BrandNew? Not one item on you in that pic is even remotely acceptable :snoop :snoop :neogafspoiler (click to show/hide):bluesteel???[close]
Oh no no I never dressed like that for school or anything. I think it was like an 80s themed school dance. All the dudes tried dressing up like Duran Duran/Miami Vice.
Is that outfit what happens when parents don't beat their children?

I refuse to believe you beat FF12 without gambits. Hell, the Cid fight alone is impossible without gambits.
A Garou love thread? I'll drink to that!(http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/504/xigarouend6zk.jpg)The absolute pinnacle of 2D fighting, and arguably the best game that the resilient jurassic Neo-Geo platform ever had. Even if it gets stale after a few dozen hours, Garou never gets boring no matter how much time you invest into it. It's becoming my most-played title of all time.
I could argue that point, but it really doesn't matter, since when it all boils down to it, Garou is certainly at the top of the list with some other games, but I still have a preference for KOF '98 as the best fighter on the Neo-Geo. That's just me though, I know. :PQuoteYou have a variety of characters that beat the living hell out of those found in Street Fighter 3, and the fights are fast, entertaining, and everything moves smoothly. Good music, great sprites even considering that it's a game made on a system with 1989 technology, accessible to newbies while having a combo sytem deep enough for the true fighting games ninjas... the list goes on and on...
Agreed, although Street Fighter III's music (in all three versions) spanks Garou's themes. I really like Terry, Rock, and The Griffon's BGMs though. Back in 2000, one thing Neo players used to always say about Garou versus SF3 was that it took Capcom three tries to get it right ("Strike Three!"), and it only took SNK one release. :DQuoteNo need to hunt down bulky Neo-Geo carts for a couple hundred bucks. Recently I played the Neo-Geo version with a friend and the game is identical, save for the better menus it has and the music. The music has slightly different MIDI instruments than those found in the original Neo version, but it's nothing too different very fortunately.
Not too big on that "arranged" music (it's the same as the DC version), but fortunately the Neo-Geo BGMs are a selectable option, so it's all good!QuoteI rule with Hotaru. :P
If you're a big Hotaru fan, you'll go nuts for her in Neo-Geo Battle Coliseum and KOF XI, then. They made her even better, and gave her new stance changes similar to Ling Xiaoyu's in Tekken. :)
Now I don't mean to derail this thread, but if you haven't already, you absolutely MUST check out The King Of Fighters XI on the PS2! It's easily the best KOF since '98, and more over the best fighting game to come out from SNK Playmore. It's THAT good. There's also a number of Garou characters present, in addition to older Fatal Fury character who have been brought back.

I made a thread on the game on GAF, and also posted these pics on Neo-Geo.com...you can read impressions here if you don't want to search; the GAF thread got pretty big though! http://fhgforum.free-forums.org/fhgforum-about89.html
Samurai Spirits Tenkaichi Kenkakuden is also quite awesome, as is Neo-Geo Battle Coliseum, although the latter suffers from some long loading issues. If you want more Garou action, KOF Maximum Impact 2, coming out Stateside as "KOF 2006," has B. Jenet added in addition to Rock and Wild Wolf (Garou Terry), plus a new parry system (more like Last Blade though).
I refuse to believe you. How did you enjoy the game? I tried that and hated the game because of it. How in the world did you beat Cid without gambits? His minions are too fast without gambits.
I am playing through MM games lately. I got the MMX Collection for ps2. It's pretty cool.
I'm on X4 now, fighting the final boss with X and it's literally impossible.
Please MAF, help a guy out.
I refuse to acknowledge or believe that any of my posts prior to about mid-2011 exist.

Newsflash: 36 grand a year is not lucrative. If you are set on doing unskilled labor in a foreign country, why not Afghanistan? You can make 200+ grand a year over there for unskilled labor by getting jobs with contractors and at least that way when people are tired of hearing your boring white-person-coming-of-age stories about living overseas, you can show them your Ferarri.

I am.
Just played the ExciteTruck demo today, could barely tear myself away from it. I was already pretty sure of my Wii purchase, but now I'm LOCKED.
edit: I was already set on it for Zelda, with possible other titles including Monkey Ball, Excitetruck, Metal Slug, Trauma Center, maybe even Rayman. Zelda was the must-have though, and Mario next year. Saw no reason to wait for Mario just to play Zelda, everything else kind of fell into place.
