You mean the text I specifically put behind a spoiler box?

Yes. Absolutely is.

No. The DLC is largely worthless for story. Just more feminist propaganda.

Excellent. As someone who liked the gameply more than the story of the main game, I'm still more than satisfied.

Wish there was more combat encounters like the final one in terms of difficulty in the main game.

Those things... the whole pre-emptive "I told you so" smugness that they imply. :maf

I'm about halfway through this (52%, 1 hour 20 mins) and I dunno.  The Last of Us was my GoTY last year and this is good I guess, but like a lot of DLC for single player games, The Last of Us was a story game and the most enjoyment was moving forward seeing what happened next in the story and with these characters.  Kind of like Gone Home with a 50 million dollar budget.

Since this is just a side story and I don't really care about it, as well as the DLC itself not bringing anything new to the table, it's just not doing much for me like most DLC to single player games.  It looks great and some of the dialogue is fantastic, just...it adds very little to the narrative of Last of Us.  Also, unlike that gaf thread, it shows me that despite loving The Last of Us, I'm not sure how much I'd want a sequel.  I think the only way a sequel would work is if it was completely unrelated; different time period, different area of the world, all new characters and brings new concepts to the gameplay as well as an original story.  Don't really want more related stuff, Last of Us is a finished and fantastic adventure, doesn't need more.

But maybe I'll change my mind on this DLC when I finish it, so eh.

Also TBF, I can't think of a single DLC expansion I've ever really liked to any game, though I still need to play Minerva's Den.  They all feel like little short vignettes that are ok, but nothing special.

Minerva's Den was better than the base game.

Mass Effect 3: Citadel is far and away better than anything in Mass Effect 3 base.

What's to rant about? I answered the question.

Another candidate: Alan Wake's "The Signal" and "The Writer"

Alright, this ended up being pretty good.  The first half of this DLC (which is a pretty long DLC for modern standard where most are 45 mins and this is over 2 hours) was kind of whatever, not much action, not much story, walking simulator.  The second half though has some pretty good action scenes that reminded me how fun the combat and stealth mix was in this and the story/characters are satisfying.  Was a good DLC, though still don't want a related sequel.

Also:

fuck the final battle for being a fake-final battle so you use up all your ammo/items thinking it's the last battle and then OH SHIT EVEN MORE GUYS AND NOW I HAVE NO AMMO/WEAPONS LEFT FUCK YOU!

And the whole coincidence of Ellen Page coming out just around the same day that the game with a character that looks just like her comes out was....weird.

Well yeah, Alan Wake main game was terrible so the DLC was slightly better (though mainly the 2nd DLC with the actual ending; first DLC was eh).  Haven't played Asura's Wrath yet so dunno; again that's a DLC endng that was cut off.

No, it's the rest of the board which hits you with a volley of that particular retort.
