Jet Set Platforming :lawd

Looks awesome, but at the same time, I'd say the art style is too derivative.

looks pretty good.

oculus rift support would be dope too, although i can see myself getting legit nauseous during those high speed front flips.

Finally, a combination of two games I don't care about.

:lol

:-\

I've seen student projects that look better than this mess but the parkour stuff is really solid. I just hope they actually hire artists and level designers instead of giving it to the janitors.

The city doesn't look very interesting from what they've shown so far. And that was one of the main attractions to me for the JSR games.

Still get goosebumps when I remember playing JSRF and this came on while I was doing a particular tricky part.

this game looks like literal hell garbage

these fools have no idea how to make a game

if you donate to this Kickstarter you might as well set your money on fire

if you want a "new" Naganuma soundtrack, go listen to Ollie King or Sonic Rush

Sewers, I think. I have trouble catching up and tagging them on their backs.

Here's the trick. There's a trap door that sends you right into the area they start at.

Here's a vid.

All about memorization.

Can beat that level in a minute dude, come on! Don't give up.

You don't have to memorize anything. They go in circles. They stop at at least three places. Wait for them to show up, and tag them by one by one. if you lose them and can't catch up, go back to the top of the stairs where they stop and tag them up. You shouldn't be chasing them unless you can tag them easily. In the video I posted. the dude fucks up, because he always goes arounddddd the area where they stop at. All he had to do was stop at the head of the stairs, and spray the fuck out of them. I'll make a vid walkthrough for you. :(

Chrono you don't realize the sacrifice I'm doing for you. Playing JSR with the dual shock 3 sticks is the worst thing ever.
Title: Re: Hover: Mirror's Edge meets Jet Set Radio
Post by: chronovore on April 25, 2014, 08:41:18 PM
Why is that?
Title: Re: Hover: Mirror's Edge meets Jet Set Radio
Post by: Himu on April 25, 2014, 09:40:50 PM
Why is that?

Sticks don't have grip like DC controller which allows you to tag fast, and they don't let you sink your thumb in for the same reason like 360 pad. JSR with 360 pad is perfection.

I managed to get used to it with the DS3 stick. Not my best run, but you get the point.

Those chase levels in JSR are the worst.  The game's collision detection is fucky and those levels show it more than anything else.

Chase levels are easy.
