gamers ARE killing the Video Game world, they almost killed Sonic but luckily he's getting back onto his feet. and the Gamers who say they want new thing are really saying "yo give me the same Mario game again and i'll be happy"

guys try something new, pick up a game that was called 'new' and play it. you never know what will happen

It's a scientific fact that there are more stupid people than smart people. Stupid people are attracted to simplistic superficial stuff without really putting much thought to why they like it. The fact that they like it reflects only the common nature of humans to mimic one another, in other words, to follow a fad.

All these best selling games are just that, a fad, and people jump right in there, throwing their money away without really giving much thought.

Why wouldn't they like innovation or games that we consider art? Because again, they don't think much, they don't care about them because these games are probably too much for them to process. Maybe they see the title screen and get scared because it doesn't instruct them to press start, and you know, they can't do anything unless the game holds their hand.

So what's my take on it? Stupid people, who are the majority, are the numbers shown in there.

And the minority, the smarter or people who think are reflected in innovation and art.

Sadly, companies don't care if their customers are smart or stupid, if they buy their products they couldn't care less.

I'm surprised at the response here. Isn't this the crux of one of Oscar's arguments?

Yeah his numbers were purposely manipulated to push his agenda.

Madden and Call of Duty have both been on a decline the past few years.

Mainstream sequels are BAD. Niche, innovative games are GOOD. But gamers are STUPID.

Well the preview picture features two Nintendo characters so I'm going to assume the video is 12 minutes of passive aggressive sperging.

So the gaming version of "there are plenty of good guys out there, but women keep picking the bad boys."
