Looks great but I'm not sure I'd want to go back to pre-Tri stuff. Monster Hunter Smart was more exciting for that reason even if the gameplay was different.

Then again this probably has multiplayer.
Btw, this is like the third or fourth MH for iOS.

Please bring MH4 to non-3ds systems. And dies Borys even play MH?
-
Is it even coming out in English?
-
Could be worse, could be Frontier G yet again.

I'm sure that's the only reason that you, a huge MonHan fan, isn't interested in this. :hitler

It doesn't look like they updated the graphics at all. It's just a resolution bump ...
I'm not sure if this will be super successful. It's a six year-old game that sold millions of copies in a franchise where the successors are usually deemed superior. It's not like they have a gripping narrative you'll want to rediscover either.

Well, that about wraps it up for portable game systems in Japan, R.I.P. 3DS n. Vita, etc. etc.
Did I miss any other stupid comments?

I think you're confused.

Vita gets janky pay-to-win 360 MMO port while iPhone gets a port of the game that revived the PSP in Japan.

Well, I'm sure Gen 2 is fun and playable since it's when MH caught on, but it's hard to go backwards when you hear things like how broken hitboxes and hipchecks were back then.
If I had an iOS device I'd definitely buy it, but it probably wouldn't get a whole lot of play.

I wonder why Capcom isn't just porting this to everything? 3DS not getting it I can understand, but why not Android and Vita (download only) too?
-
Isn't Freedom Unite available on Vita already?
Also this is neat but I would rather have Smart since it looks to be more designed around touch-controls than this virtual-control mess.
