I'm going to get some yard work done and then cook something for my mom (spaghetti). Maybe buy her a random Dean Koontz novel. I'm a good son.

Took my wife out to brunch this morning, worked in the garden and now we're laying around while kiddo takes a nap. Going out to dinner with my parents and grandparents tonight.

Picked up food from Alon's (restaurant-quality take out place) for lunch and brought it over to my parents' house.  All my mom wanted to do was go walking with everyone on a nature trail, so we took the dog out there for a big walk, then went to visit the grandparents.  Grandma was happy to see us; Grandpa was pretty much like "OH HI LOVE THAT DOG OK NOW GTFO I WANT TO EAT." 

Was a good day.

Went to the coffee house and shopped for a bit in the historic area by our house in the morning. Then picked Shaka up, picked up quality fried chicken, and ate it at the park with my family. Took pictures of our baby girl where my husband and I got married. Total success.
