That article is pretty bad, too, however.  Lots of worthless fucking analysis about something so trivial.

Be who you are.  Like who you want.  They don't like you?  That sucks.  Continue to be who you are, and you can continue to like them if you choose.  But your happiness level will not be where you want it, regardless of who is to blame in a situation like this (nice guy m'ladies vs unfair feminists).  If you just live your life as you want with confidence, you're gonna be fine romantically.  Just don't be such a try hard, and don't place blame on girls who aren't interested.

Likewise, on the other end, don't think of some of these guys with such contempt to label them potential rapists and perverts.  This is an extreme viewpoint just as bad and as hurtful as labeling women who "friend-zone" dudes as bitches.  Some guys can't help their feelings, and its not always an aspiration for sex and sex alone.  Its an aspiration to be in a loving relationship.

TL;DR: fuck off with shit like this and live your life and everything will be fine

I don't get the whole friend zoning issue.  If you dont have the balls to leave her when she friend zones you, you obviously dont have the balls for a real relations ship anyway?  The same applies if you were close knit in the first place too.  In other words grow some balls.

Dudes should stop reacting to the behavior of other dudes, and just be themselves; that alone would end the nice guy shit, considering that act is a reaction to "bad boys."

The best way to attract women is to not think about it. Be clean, be normal, and don't embarrass yourself by being a dumbass. Guess what, those are general rules for interacting decently in public which goes hand in hand with attracting friends, relationships, networking, promotions, etc. I don't mean to denigrate our generation but it's amazing how well you can stand out from peers just by not being a dumbass. Don't browse your phone at work, know how to write proper reports or emails, talk effectively, etc and you'll stand out.

I'm wondering what the opposite side of the same coin is; I know that's never a safe model in gender politics, but in this case I wonder how the women suffering under their own unrequited love should be viewed. Are those of the "He's just not that into you" camp also fostering rape culture?

If I've learned anything being more social means more access to dick and pussy. You just aren't going to find someone if you spend your time in comfort zones or only talking to specific groups of people. I know it's funny coming from me considering how I met the bf but I've been much more social since I got to Portland and there's a whole wide world out there full of people. They can be found in bars, at the library, volunteering. But you simply aren't going to meet many people gaming and staying on the internet. You don't need to spend your time pining away for someone who isn't interested if you're busy getting the hell out of the house and immersing yourself in people.
