Only thing I'm getting this fall is samurai warriors 4 and warriors orochi 3 ultimate unless sims 4 turns out to be good.
Mobile is fine for me. Both current gen and last gen look anemic for releases.
-
Oh, and a new Call of Duty. So fresh!
-
There are always great games to play if you look beyond the tired old annual rehashes.
-
I'm just joking about AAA games being delayed. Man, site goes down for a while, everyone comes back all serious :lol

I will of course buy the new Battlefields and CoDs. What can I say? I have fun with them.
Still, there's some other games I'm excited about. Evil Within is my big game for sure. There's been a lot of strange previews down on the game because it's more RE4? I ask how is this a bad thing? We haven't had good RE4 since well....RE4. I really don't care if it's nothing new as long it's done well. People seem to not understand that. Watchdogs is'nt boring because it's not new. It's boring because it's old stuff done with no style.
I guess Destiny is a wait until reviews and impressions game. Could be good, could be meh. I really don't know, but I do think the lack of hype is telling.
Dragon Age 3 may be good. I mean it can't be worse than the last game right? Hell, not like there's any other big wrpg this fall.
I'll pick up Tales of Xillia 2 and take a long time to finish it so it might as well be a fall game.
Maybe I'll even be desperate enough to try Fair Fencer F.....
Hell, I'm not against that Akiba Strip game either. I mean why would I, I'm already sold on Senen Kagrua Vita. So clearly I have no standards anymore.
All the little footage of Alien Isolation looks great, but it's high concept has a high chance of failing. We'll see I guess.
Far Cry 4 could turn out ok, but I'm burned out on ubisoft.
Then there's Guilty Gear Xrd. Looks great, but should I just wait for Xrd Chrono Cross?
So yeah there's some stuff this year, just nothing that will blow your mind.
-
Forgot evil within. Will get that
-
Purchase of Dragon Age 3 is gonna be contingent on a positive Frag review, and even then I will wait until it's $40 or less, because fuck Bioware.
-
Xillia 2 and Evil Within for me.
-
The second half of this year is actually pretty awesome, I don't know why Eel is complaining.

Sid Meier's Beyond Earth

I like how it will mark the new consoles first year out, and literally none of the upcoming titles is a new genre or a new take of anything. It is the same old shit. This is the first generation I have ever seen that with. Even last gen there were games like crackdown and dead rising which were new takes on old formulas. Same with saints row, chrome hounds, and more.
But console gaming isn't stagnant or dying? What?
-
No, it means that AAA games are almost totally worthless now and you shouldn't bother with them anymore.
-
Dead rising and crackdown are hardly AAA. In fact, none of those games I listed are except Saints Row, and when SR first came out it wasn't AAA at all.
I think I'll take the idea that console gaming is stagnant instead. The gravy train is over. All the innovation is on Steam and mobile.
-
No, they weren't, but big publishers very rarely make games that aren't AAA anymore.
-
Jesus Christ, Rumbler. There used to be more to games than big AAA or big publishers.
-
And there still is. Just not on consoles anymore.
:piss consoles :piss2

I believe...that...was my original point.

I dunno, I laughed at the OP.

Complain all you want. My consoles will be playing plenty of games.
