even if you irrationally hate mobile, there's not much loss here. gooch wasn't going to be making anymore full-budget handheld or console games anyway. you can only lob so many bombs before companies stop giving you money.

“I’m writing the scenario, and the final text is being done by Hatano, who worked with me on The Last Story,” says Sakaguchi
I had a mate who worked for MS Japan while Sakaguchi was still working with them and from the stories I've heard, it's not terribly surprising they didn't go back to him for a 3rd time. I think LO did pretty decently worldwide, but the man was not an easy one to work with and had very expensive tastes.
“Even last night, we had an argument that got into pretty loud shouts and we got scolded by the guys from the restaurant,” he says with a laugh. “ We often have people saying things like, ‘Well maybe Mr. Sakaguchi’s ideas just aren’t that great?’ and me going, ‘Huh? Maybe it’s the people around me that suck!’ and stuff like that.”
People fail to like his ideas, that's the problem.
2 million? Guess I'll wait for the console version then
Yeah Taco-chan, this isn't a Vita game.
Looks interesting, what's the freemium aspect? My knowledge of these sort of games is pretty shallow, so I guess some sort of bullshit currency / timer?
Report: it's pretty good so far. Lots of stuff borrowed from PAD, but with a very fresh spin to the combat.
hunh, so at some point you have to pay for all the hours of fun you got out of it
well that's pretty shitty then
for poors
i'm eating crow
the game has passed 1 million downloads already
well deserved. the game is legit, probably the first time I've really enjoyed a mistwalker game.Really? I must be missing something because I somehow managed to enjoy Blue Dragon and would've loved LO if they just sped the damned thing up
