Jets game
I've only been to one Jets game, but I witnessed the buttfumble in person. :aah
Honestly, either will be a good time provided that you are not cheering for the visiting team.
-
How to get to Jets stadium though?
Biz, im not only going for the game but to see how you yankees watch your sports :) I think that Football might be more of a show.
-
How to get to Jets stadium though?
There is a train that goes right to the stadium from the city.
-
Go to a football game if that's the reason for going. And yeah, Raiders fans are a bit nuts.
-
My fiancee would prefer baseball, but I'm not sure. I just want a show and to be entertained.
I know Yankees vs Sox is more iconic, but baseball seems so static to me.
Please give me some real talk

I doubt you could find someone to tailgate to the Jets game with, but that's the most American sports experience there is.
-
In my experience hotter women go to football games. Do that. And football is more entertaining live.
-
You'd be the only white dude amongst Raiders fans in the stands.
-
Yankees
-
Wooooow and why do some americans say football is boring?
-
Does that 11 minutes only account for play time after the ball is snapped? That's pretty misleading if true.

guys running around and pretending to get injured really isn't so different than guys standing around waiting to get injured
-

I've got to say, as a non-fan of both sports, this really isn't true. Both sports are extremely long and feature a lot of standing around:

That's true. But with that said even the "action" parts of baseball bore me. I just can't get into it.

brain atrophy percent per score is way too low in soccer

Football.
Going to baseball games sucks.
-
And it's true. Going to football games IS more fun live. Less commercials since you're there live. More in face action. Closer look at the pageantry and fan support. Going to baseball, you don't know how long that game is going to last. It could three hours or four hours. One time when I went to a baseball game with friends and we were there for five hours. DON'T. DO. BASEBALL.
No matter the cost! Save yourself your money and time. :trash

Your fiancée wants to stare at men in baseball trousers for 3+ hours.
When I used to go to my university's baseball games, every person in the stands was either a professional scout or a young woman ogling.
e: Also, don't listen to these LIARS telling you Raider fans are crazy. I'm one and do I seem crazy to you? :hans1
-
Jets. People go to Baseball games to eat hotdogs and chat in the stands. Go see football if you want entertainment.
-
Baseball games are fun if you don't watch the game in its entirety. Going to the park, getting food, just chilling out...and casually watching the game here or there until the later innings or whenever it gets interesting.
I'd imagine New York ballparks are really nice and have a lot of shit you can do/buy. Comerica Park (Detroit Tigers) is very nice and I like just sitting there doing nothing. It's like a vacation moreso than a sporting event.

Speaking for Lager's fiance, I'll say this is completely true. :drool Baseball uniforms... :lawd
-
Football uniforms are way more sexy. They're tighter, for one, and the guys are bulkier and have better butts.

oh wait you're coming soon right? yankees-red sox but everyone knew i would say this
-
there is no better way to truley experience the armpit of america than by going to a jets game
-
A baseball game is a much better fan experience than a football game. Just watch the NFL on TV
-
I like baseball and have been a life long fan, but I've had more fun at football games.
-

No, ma'am. Maybe if the Football uniforms weren't bulked up with safety stuff.
-
baseball is boring as fuck
-
I like football more as a spectator sport, but find that generally the sight lines on the action to be pretty awful. Being down too low isn't great, and being too high is a worthless experience. Being stuck in the end zone can either be amazing or the worst seat in the house.
Baseball is pretty great in that all seats are pretty good (except for behind the foul poles), you can carry on a good conversation with your date/friends, you can play around on your smartphone in between action and not look like a douche and they do a good job of keeping you entertained between innings with video/trivia/games/giveaways etc.
The big downside is that the only real tension happens in the last three innings, which can sometimes take 2 1/2 - 3 hours to get there or it could not happen at all (if it's a blowout).
