Go to Origin and Redeem product code. Type in ILOVETHESIMS.

You will get the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection for free

Yeah, they upgraded me to the ultimate collection for free last week just for having sims 2 deluxe edition and like five ep's. Really cool of EA but this could easily backfire because I don't plan on buying sims 4 and plan on playing sims 2 instead, and now they've given me the whole thing for free.

Sorry, I was being stupid, I thought it was a discount code for somewhere around check-out, but I couldn't find Sims 2 in the origin store.

I managed to figure it out later.

this game not working for anyone else? fucking thing hangs at a title screen that says "fun with pets collection." dunno what's going on

Apparently its just a really long load the first time you boot the game because its adding in all the expansion packs.

Same with creating your first neighborhood.

yep; walked away and came back like 5 minutes later and saw it was loading. just takes a realllllllly long time
