Yeah, same here. I met some of them at E3 back before the original Killzone launched, and even talked to them about bringing the game to Japan. Then Sony bought them.

What went wrong with KZ is the heavy feel of play imho, this is much less of an issue with rpgs

Also, I hope they got a good director to go along with what I assume is a good writer. There was nothing wrong with the story or setting of any of the KZ games, but the delivery, presentation and whatnot... yikes.
