Sup dudes?

Just watching random movies on netflix while destroying my live with Stone IPAs :noah

Finished up Turner & Hooch, now rewatching Bloodsport. How are you guys doing on this fine evening?

UPDATE: Lowkey, Jean Claude Van Dam has an intense gay glaze.

Tonight I'm drinking some redd's apple ale :flabbypd instead of beer because beer does turrible things to my gut. I mean, I'll still drink it from time to time but holy christ. It felt like I was shitting glass last weekend. :noah

Also, I'm plugging away at my design portfolio while listening to podcasts.

The first anime I watched outside of DBZ was some Street Fighter movie. Got it and a Tekken movie from a yard sale. This is probably why I have a bad relationship with anime

I'll probably watch an episode of Spooks while holding back a breakdown. :goty2

Last ep I watched hit me where it hurts. ("Outsiders") :goty

It's funny, I bought a TV because I felt like I was wasting money paying for cable that I wasn't watching but I just end up watching Netflix which costs additional money. Shit's more credit union than international banker.

Time to drink and self-flagellate watch Blossom.

I wonder what kind of pace I can keep on this, maybe in a quarter have the whole thing done? My capacity to endure pain is... substantial.

This position amuses me in that perverted sadomasochistic way in which I amuse myself. I sporadically use the "whoa" of one Joey Lawrence as a method of generational demarcation; around those my age it will perhaps spark a memory of times long forgotten, but around those younger than me it is merely met with the polite smile and nod that a person afflicted by my... eccentricities has grown accustomed to receiving. Now this dusty cultural edifice sucked out to sea by the capricious rip tide of common sense is material once more in my existence. It has not been a part of my life since I was... 13 I think it was, which feels like it was two lifetimes ago now. (And in a way it was, but that is a brooding meditation for another introspective post.) I would come home during the summer every day and watch reruns of it because that was the sort of thing I would do in the summer at that age. Now I will be making new memories in the apparitions of past ones... that is a common situation for me these days... perhaps too common for my current mental state, only time knows the answer to that query and it is a silent soothsayer.

The notes I'm taking while watching this fucking show look like the scribblings of a madman, which is probably how you should characterize anything I write but it is particularly axiomatic in this form.

This Bordeaux has a particularly axiomatic after taste. With a hint of blood of revolutionaries past.

Quote
The fraudulent nature of Western constitutional governance, lies in the fact that superficial liberty and democracy of and for the whole people conceals that in essence, it only is liberty and democracy for the bourgeoisie, and only is the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie.

And they say these knickerbockers is capitalist roaders. :whew

Here's the article. :lol Western fascist summary, then translated article, then original Chinese: http://chinacopyrightandmedia.wordpress.com/2013/06/03/the-chinese-debate-on-constitutionalism-texts-and-analyses-part-i/

At least in the translation there's a part where she slips up a bit from the Party line. But could be the translation.

Visited a shrine to pray for safe delivery of an upcoming nephew. Could be a niece, but I think it's a nephew.

Went to a hot spring and had a massive tempura dinner; feeling bloated and stoked. Debating another beer now that I'm home. You guys are probably all unconscious by now though.
