Title: Rainy Day Albums

Fiona Apple - Idler Wheel

I'd been meaning to revisit this one for a while but I'm glad I didn't have a chance to until this morning while I was doing laundry.  I had to leave the building to get some quarters and noticed how much the light rain complements this album.

Another good rainy day album:

Ka - The Night's Gambit

Hearing the rain drops beat against my window helps me see Ka's stories a little better.

What do you like to listen to when it's dank out?

On an unrelated note I listened to The Score for the first time today.  I was caught off guard by the racist as fuck skit at the end of The Beast.  The 90s were a different time.

Just about anything in The Beatles discography.

Pink Floyd’s Meddle, or The Wall.

Thomas Dolby’s The Flat Earth.

Havoc's production is just perfect on this. There are no clear skies on this album

I don't have an entire album either and can only think of these two songs right now:

Susumu Hirasawa's Venus (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZL2sxYElFs) and Skeleton Coastal Park (http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xj9c1v_susumu-hirasawa-x-p-model-skeleton-coast-park-%E5%B9%B3%E6%B2%A2-%E9%80%B2-%E3%82%B9%E3%82%B1%E3%83%AB%E3%83%88%E3%83%B3-%E3%82%B3%E3%83%BC%E3%82%B9%E3%83%88-%E3%83%91%E3%83%BC%E3%82%AF_music).

I was gonna post The Infamous, but this works just as well. Also a little more subtle than Infamous or Murda Muzik since they both have actual samples or rain

kinda funny, as someone who grew up in the overcast-with-rain capitol of the US, I don't really have any rainy day albums. Maybe all of my albums are rainy day albums :ohhh
