I wish phone manufacturers would go back to 4.X" screen sizes. I find even my Nexus 4 is a tad bit too big for my liking. I'd love a ~4.5" Nexus with minimal bezel but it looks like something like that ain't happening.

On a serious note... My husband has the One Plus One, and its kinda perfect. If I could've gotten one, I would've, but I had just picked up my gigantophone and we only had one invite.

I only went for this one because I wanted the newest WP I could get. It's huge but I got used to it within a day or two. (pause)

I'm with Charlie Brown, phones are gettin too damn big. It's like they're just getting lazy and want more space for batteries, chipsets, etc. I really don't get the trade off of not being able to put it in a pocket comfortably, is it for people with bad vision? That's what it always makes me think of, phones for old people

Nexus 7 (2013) is still available to purchase at reasonable prices.

The Nexus 9 won't be much bigger in size since the aspect ratio is going to be 4:3.

And it looks like Google has already dropped support for the Nexus 4 despite the fact it's not even two years old yet. People like to give Apple a lot of crap over stuff like this but I honestly think Google's worse about it.

Edit: False alarm. The Nexus 4 is getting Android 5.0.

It looks like leaving out the Nexus 4 might have been an accidental omission. I guess we will wait and see.

You'll be surprised,  9 inches isn't much smaller than a full-sized iPad (9.7). Looks like a good comic reader,  but I prefer 16:10 ratio for full page comics. Actually,  the nook HD plus had the perfect ratio, 3:2.

Not gonna lie. I already started saving for the iPhone 6 Plus after trying it, so this is perfect for me. Assuming it has a better battery life and camera, cause those are my biggest gripes about my Nexushite 4. Lollipop looks cute too.

I need a TV box, wondering what I should get.

Nexus Player looks good but no Prime video app. Chromecast built in is nice, tho (I use the hell out of mine, amazing $35 tool). It is a circle though and I hate round shapes.

Fire TV has similar specs but no Google Play store & no automatic Chromecast.

Roku 3 is more "neutral" but getting a bit long in the tooth.

Also rumors of a new AppleTV, though I'm definitely more about that Chromecast life than Airplay.

I guess I can wait and see how Plex runs on Nexus Player and how hard it is to add the Amazon Prime Video app.

I'm in the market of a TV box too. Apple TV, while nice, was a consideration until I got rid of all my iDevices. Anything but consoles. :piss2

Probably can sideload the Prime app at some point. Some smart motherfucker on XDA will figure it out. The one bummer about the Nexus player compared to the older Google TV devices (I still rock a Vizio Co-Star) is that they 86'ed HDMI in. It was such a convenient feature IMHO.

Thinking out loud:

I always thought to myself that Nexus 4 was an excellent phone and a jumping point into Androids... but I really, really got burned on the camera and battery. The stock OS also started feeling dated next to the recent skins and OS's by other competitors. I told myself, even way before the Nexus 5 reveal, that I'm upgrading the minute Google cleans up those three areas.

I had already set aside some $ for a iPhone 6 Plus, mostly because of the good balance between camera, battery, and OS. But now? I can get a Nexus 6 *and* a Google Player for less than the price of a 6 Plus (all off contract).

... Now to wait for the performance comparisons.

tl;dr— I'm getting a Nexus 6 :rejoice
