There was a google or youtube thread about this awhile ago which I couldn't find but it seems to be ramping up now. You have to set it 720p.

Opera
:sabu :sabu :sabu

I use Chrome (and most Google services) over Apple's offering, fwiw
And I used to use Opera in late high school/early college. I've moved on
-
What's wrong with Opera? It seems like a decent browser, but I haven't used it much.
-
Didn't all the reasons to use Opera go away when it became a re-skinned Chrome?
-
Couple more
I'll try uploading something later tonight.

There are important, subtle differences that make Opera vastly superior, despite Chrome having a few advantages over Opera.
Yeah, many of which they ditched when it turned into a fork of Chrom(ium).
On 28 May 2013, a beta release of Opera 15 was made available,[32] the first version based on the Chromium project.[33][34] Many distinctive features of the previous versions were dropped, and Opera Mail was separated into a standalone application derived from Opera 12.[35]
What's left?

Too bad most PS4 games won't benefit from this.
yeah, PS4 and Xbox One only capture video at 720p 30fps. I know that's not what you meant, but I still wonder if they can ever improve that. even the raw files are like that.

I kinda doubt it without a big hit to performance. We'll see I guess.

Tested uploaded three videos of 2k15 with various settings adjusted to effect frame rate like vsync on and off.
It seems to correctly auto-detect videos where the frames go above 30 even if it isn't a consistent 60 or above. It's not anything you have to flag. Will try it later with some other games just to see it.

So awesome to see 60 frame videos. It's like seeing some of these games for the first time.

Finally. Been waiting for this since it was announced. I'm also really surprised to see that it's retroactive. If you've uploaded 60 fps videos in the past, you can force youtube to reprocess it by saving an enhancement (without actually changing anything):

I never uninstalled Chrome by the way. I'm not sure what kind of magic Google uses to keep that shit updated even when I'm not using it though... :ohhh
Auto-installed Google Updater service.
