I always find a big disconnect in these games of the beats your hitting and the music playing compared to pure music games like Ouendan, Beatmania, Taiko, Rock Band.  Sometimes I feel like I'm actually playing the song, making the music, but a lot of the time in Theatrhythm and that DQ trailer I feel like I'm playing a simple mini-game while listening to FF/DQ music in the background and watching animations.

OK that looks awesome, and the theatrhythm art style fits DQ waaaay more than it does FF, imo.
