I read that this morning and absolutely loved it.

Worst part. He was an officer at a local affluent town before he came to Cleveland. They were going to fire him. When Cleveland asked them for a review they said he was fine.

Even before I read Andrew Hawkins' heartfelt response, I thought the police union's "You're just a dumb jock, don't talk about things you can't understand" was a really, incredibly bad approach to PR.
