Paul McCartney. He's been a music icon for over 50 years. The Beatles music transcends time though his solo work has some songs that are just awful.

Gave Paul and his whimsy the nod, but probably shouldn't have as kids these days are finally forgetting the Beatles. Actually recently had a conversation with my stepson (9) on who they were at all :lol
