Did all of Walker’s footage get shot before he passed, or are they going to have CGI Walker gliding from scene to scene, like young Jeff Bridges in Tron?

reporetedly he was half finished before his accident.  After that they rewrote the script, and cast his actual brothers to body double him for the remaining footage to be shot.

I'm assuming there will be some vocal/CGI face doubling for at least part of his role.  I'm actually really interested to see the film for just how they handled this aspect.

Is the series actually done after this or nah

There is plans for a spin off of the series so it continues on, and some contracts were extended up to a 9th film. Who continues on with it after this one I don't know.

Vin is probably done though since it's hit him the hardest. Fast and Furious series is secretly a gay love story between him and walker.

They'll definitely keep the series going for at least a little while longer, in some form or another.

This just blows my mind man. I mean these movies aren't terrible by any stretch of the imagination but c'mon man people have become billionaires by making movies about b--tier actors wrecking cars

F&F is one of the strangest series ever made.

I mean at this point a child could write the plot and still get 500 million in sales

Dudes are fixing cars being friends
OMG Drama
Asian guy eating chips says something smarmy
Bad guy appears
Mandatory Rock flexing moment
OMG Did xxxxxx die in that wreck?
Everybody is sad
LOL, Phew he's okay
Huge car chase involving semi's and crazy car physics (TM)
Dude! He just jumped a car over a semi backwards and landed on a building!
Bad guy defeated by crazy car physics (TM) followed by an ass whipping by Vin
Shot of all of them leaving in their souped up cars
FIN

Give me my check.

Its not even that, its that it started as a bromance street racing series then went to cars jumping off of planes.  Went from block-buster to direct to video back to block-buster.  Its survived the main characters leaving the series then coming back.  Its survived a main character dying in real life and being cgi'd in.  They killed off a character then decided they liked him too much so decided to make movies 4-6 be set between 2 and 3.  Its also attracting more and more action stars to the series.

Yeah true. My wife's friend works for LMR and she said Lebron has a cameo....they borrow his car or something. He got paid somewhere around 30,000 for about 1 day of work. Not bad work if you can get it.

I never even watched the first 4 movies, but 5 and 6 are really well put together action movies that actually use lots of physical effects instead of relying on CG. Can't hate on that.
