This is almost like the opposite of The Order-- I expected this to get trashed, but it's reviewing decently, looks like shit, but from all accounts plays well. Will probably get it now.
I'm just not impressed with this game at all. I was able to run through 95% of the first chapter without even bothering with the enemies. There's no reason to fight them and there's only one situation where you need to be dealing with them to proceed.

Isn't this how the old games were? I remember running past most enemies to conserve ammo.
I'm just waiting for the whole retail version to come out.
I feel 4 did the whole escort thing pretty well. There was a strategic element in managing Ashley most of the time. This is doing it for the sake of doing it.
the ending to a resident evil game? like, they kill a supermutant and fly away on a helicopter?
