Knew a coworker was on their way over to pester me. Walked off from my desk briskly, like I was making a quick bathroom run. Hid in a conference room and remoted into my computer to work in peace for an hour.

I'm still trying to figure out where in his mind the thought "I know how to show how badass cool I am...I'll listen to totally different music than this club is playing and people will know I'm a special guy" got approved and processed?

Yeah, well, sometimes you go to an awesome club, but they're not playing your favorite tunes and you're just like "Well! I guess I'll dance to my own tunes instead!" to show people that you're not about conforming to their base views on auditory entertainment.
