My current laptop is trash and the videogaming equivalent of LeBron's hairline so here we are friends. Not trying to spend more than 1100, as i plan to build a new desktop within ~2 years.

As an aside, I was surprised by how well the newer i7/i5's run many games with their internal GPU. Though it'll push processor temps to insane levels if the laptop has shitty venting.
Though I haven't tried any "actual" PC or "next gen" games, just last gen console ports or Source games. I never really planned to game on the laptop I bought a couple years ago so I didn't get a discrete GPU but it was nice to find out I could actually play some TF2 or something like that if I was ever on the road with it. Even NBA 2K ran decent on low-medium settings. (Though it made my fan sound like it was going to explode.)

It's so others know that you're a serious gamer and not some facebook or spreadsheet lame-o.

I have a Sager Np7338 (13.3") The build quality is pretty good, although it's all plastic n' rubber, and it runs pretty much everything I throw at it on high/ultra settings at 1920x1080. Looks like a normal laptop and not some tacky "gaming" monstrosity, which is exactly what I was looking for.

Use your phone like everybody else.
