Quote
Brand is the spiritual leader of Britain’s disaffected anti-capitalist youth. In October he published Revolution, a manifesto for the radical redistribution of wealth and power. Dismissed by his opponents as a clownish opportunist, he is nevertheless the most charismatic figure on Britain’s populist left. Brand’s inclusion on Prospect’s list did not meet with universal approval—the Guardian, for instance, said that his “presence looks designed to be provocative.” But other commentators came to his—and our—defence, with one suggesting that many of the criticisms levelled at Brand simply remind us that the “incessant demand for criticism to be ‘constructive’ is another way of defending the status quo.”

His book is basically a mashup of every left-wing anti-capitalist anti-power anarchist-totalitarian thing ever written that he's never read splattered with his jokes and style all over it. That advocates tearing down the entire system and then building one that works without any exploitation or poverty or misery or inequality in its place.

Also it has the backwards LOVE thing in the title like the Ron Paul people did.

I remember Brand had that 'Trews' series that he was vlogging, but I didn't know he kept it up for this long. 5 videos a week for over a year, mein gott.

If someone takes either Russell Brand or Banksy seriously you can pretty much write them off as dumb with a 99% success rate.

At first I was going to say that the list is shit. But upon further inspection I notice that they put Russel Brand next to Paul Krugman. So I guess at least that part is accurate.
