Title: Battlefield Heroes shutting down

Electronic Arts announced today that it will shut down a handful of his PC free-to-play games, including Battlefield Heroes, Battlefield Play4Free, football world and Need for Speed World.
I remember when this was announced and what high hopes I had for it. The trailers made it look like TF2 withthe old BF1942 gameplay. Then you got the chance to play it and it was pretty average with a terrible P2W model underneath it all.
Thanks EA.

lol EA, of course you are
Heroes was good in beta when it was a cartoony BF with no vehicles before they added everything about the game, I played it like two years ago and it's nothing but guys with rail gun SMGs running around shooting you through buildings, capping the center point and then spawn camping
spoiler (click to show/hide)
so like every Battlefield amirite

It wasn't that bad oh... four years ago? But eh... don't think I'd pay anything to play it. Same with BF: "Play 4 Free." Double-so the EA account issues they had with hackers being able to get past old board software to get EA.com ID's to hijack a few years back. Nope. Not dealing with that or EA's F2P stuff ever again. :lol
Edit: Oh wait they're shutting down Play 4 Free as well. Guess that officially ends the run of Battlefield 2, then. :lol
