RT/user votes have been going up and down for the last few daysBut that's probably just people giving it the highest or lowest score without seeing it.
I head the mid-credits scene is either super hype or super meh. Thoughts?super-meh:

I'm cool with that. All real movies should be 3-4 hours longQuite frankly if it's not Erich von Stroheim's original cut of Greed, it's not worth watching.
I saw that they already announced an extended cut for blu-ray. something about squeezing eighty characters into two and a half hours hurting it.
the trend is to split movies into parts. closure is overrated.
Um, I already called the Avengers 2 OT in the OT Forum. mods help :mafMake one with the real title "Avengers: Age of Ultron" that'll show him and indicate the thread is for real discussion and intellectual analysis.
movies evolved to being hours of buildings falling over. TV has a lot of catching up to do.

Movies are bad theatre and television is bad film, as I always say.

And theatre is just shallow literature expounded by poor actors on a small stage.
What kinda pisses me off is Whedon recently said the movies are "sort of" their own universe compared to the TV-verse and that as far as the movies are concerned Coulson is dead and I'm just like >:( YOU WROTE THE FIRST EPISODE OF SHIELD YOU DOPE

That makes no sense. Isn't Whedon on the way out anyway? Maybe he doesn't care anymore.
Low bar for Marvel movies is the first Thor. That snoozer took me three tries to get through, including a failed attempt during an international flight. Do you know how hard it is to not-watch something on a 12 hour flight? Pretty hard.dude

I can't tell if PD is spoiling the movie or making things up

Yep, because "character balance" is something someone would say is positive in the X-men movies.I saw that they already announced an extended cut for blu-ray. something about squeezing eighty characters into two and a half hours hurting it.
Singer seems to do just fine :win
